Help Protect Killer Whales

Science is the Key to Their Future

Killer whales are among the ocean’s most intelligent and powerful predators. In Norwegian waters, they play a crucial role in marine ecosystems. Yet we still know surprisingly little about their population dynamics, health, and how they are responding to rapid environmental change.

Without scientific knowledge, effective protection is impossible. Norwegian Orca Survey is dedicated to closing this knowledge gap. Since 2013, our team has been conducting long-term research to understand the lives of killer whales and generate the science needed to protect them.

Your contribution directly fuels the science that helps protect killer whales.
